Wash/Detail Tech | Washington Court House, OH

Our team is currently seeking a Wash/Detail Tech to perform a variety of duties related to day-to-day clean, prep and detail equipment for service and sales. Clean and Detail Equipment:

  • Independently perform thorough cleaning/degrease of equipment when/where necessary based on workorder instructions.
  • Prep and detail equipment to include masking, touch-up painting, track, tire and vinyl rejuvenation.
  • Prepare and take photos for new and used equipment postings.
  • Installation and removal of decals
  • Responsible for accurate and timely recording of time, job codes, repair description, parts, supplies along with required customer and equipment information on work orders and other documentation.
  • Proficiently use personal and Heartland provided tools and equipment such as; hand tools, pressure washer, hoses, brushes, hose making machine and other equipment.
  • Clean and detail company vehicles and equipment as required.

Other Duties:

  • Perform daily forklift inspection.
  • Perform daily cleaning and organization of work area and other assigned areas.
  • Keep lot organized and clean.
  • Operate forklift to load and unload shipments of parts and equipment.
  • Light mechanical repairs when needed
  • Facility upkeep, maintenance and repair as assigned.
  • Cleaning of service shop and emptying of trash.

Customer Service:

  • Build rapport with customers and establish self and VHL as trusted advisors and present a professional image to customers, guests and community.
  • Listen and understand customer needs. Work to ensure that customer needs are met. Make recommendations to customer to enhance their customer experience.
  • Prioritize customers to ensure that each customer receives their needed service in a time period and manner that meets their needs.
  • Customer service skills, able to handle dissatisfied customer complaints, de-escalate situations, accept criticism, able to turn negative situations into positive experiences and opportunities.
  • Make and repair hydraulic hoses using the VHL parts and crimping machine.
  • Pickup and deliver parts to/from customers/road techs/vendors as needed using VHL delivery vehicle.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness in locating parts to fulfill customer orders timely and efficiently.

    HDD Specialist - Technician | Washington Court House, OH

    Specialize in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing Horizontal Direction Drills and Drilling Fluid Handling Systems.

    The HDD Specialist Technician, is assigned a company owned service vehicle equipped to perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair, along with some fabrication and welding on Vermeer equipment and other similar manufacturers.
