Vermeer Corporation closed on a distribution agreement with Fecon, an industry leader in forestry mulching equipment, on February 1, 2021. Through this agreement, Vermeer Heartland now has access to the full line of Fecon forestry products. This gives us the opportunity to better serve our customers in the recycling and forestry markets, where we are a strong leader.
The partnership with Fecon is a perfect avenue to continue our growth and focus in recycling and waste markets. It’s also an important step in supporting our customers with forestry mulching equipment and attachments.

Fecon’s culture of forestry innovation and product lineup is a strong complement to Vermeer’s culture and recycling and forestry product lines. With a strong need for product that serves the land clearing, utility right-of-way and fire mitigation markets, their mulching attachments and tractors will give us a broader portfolio to support customers we are already working with in those markets. Together, both companies can focus on strengths by providing Fecon additional options within their forestry tractor lineup and Vermeer to continue our focus on our evolving environmental, material and waste handling product line.

Cummins 3.8L Tier 4 Final Engine
The 125VRT mulching tractor is built for optimal performance and efficiency. The torsion suspended track drive provides a swift and durable system for work in demanding terrain, while a rearview camera with in-cab monitor provides added visibility, enhancing maneuverability.
225VST
Tier 4 Final, Stage V Engine
Fecon introduces the Tier 4 Stage V compliant 225VST Mulching Tractor which includes the Fecon Power Management System for unrivaled power and performance in the 200HP class. The system allows for the 225VST to mulch uphill while maintaining control over both the lift arms and track system. Large engine bay doors provide easy access to all points of the 225VST, giving access to all components without interference.
325VST
Cummins 6.7 Tier 4 Final, Stage V Engine
This low-ground pressure (3.9 psi) tractor features an oscillating carriage with 30” track shoes, providing balanced traction in hard or soft conditions. A spacious cab features air suspension, heated seat, new larger touchscreen IQAN display, and keyless ignition with security for operator comfort and control. A tilting cab and wide engine compartment doors on the side and read, simplify access for maintenance and service. The 325VST also features the Fecon Power Management System for unrivaled power and performance in the 300HP class.

The ultimate attachment for stump grinding.
The Fecon Compact STUMPEX stump grinder Mounts to compact utility loaders with as little 10-20 GPM output. A threaded cone and staggered AR500 cutting blades grind out stump and root material with minimal discharge. Low maintenance costs, high production, and less clean-up make the STUMPEX excellent for stump grinding contractors in land clearing, tree care, and municipal applications.
